Better Student Service Matters

This Green Bay, Wisconsin college offers 200+ programs ranging from transfer programs to technical programs to certification programs. Paskill Stapleton & Lord’s SMART (Sales Management and Recruiting Training) program was conducted with the enrollment services team as one of NWTC’s initiatives to better serve students in its district.

Training Sessions to Grow Enrollments

The session, conducted by PS&L Vice President Dave Black, focused on improving conversion and yields as well as efforts to grow the prospect pool. Admissions counselors (nearly all 20 attendees had at least three-years’ experience!) managing traditional as well as adult students were engaged in the sessions on topics including:

  • relationship building
  • academic sales
  • overcoming objections
  • engaging high school students and parents
    – over a 4-6 month recruiting cycle
  • servicing adult learners in a compressed timeline from app to enroll
