Enrollment Marketing for Higher Education

Nearly 100 colleges were represented at the 30th annual National Small College Enrollment Conference (NSCEC), which took place in Louisville earlier this week. According to Paskill Stapleton & Lord Business Development Manager Janet Sieff, approximately 17% of those institutions are current or former clients of PS&L. Since 1986, PS&L has partnered with more than 500 colleges and universities across the country.

Janet also noted that NSCEC attendees – approximately 200 admissions directors and counselors from colleges with fewer than 5,000 students – recognized PS&L, who exhibited, from the company’s Sales Management & Academic Recruitment Training (SMART) workshops. Jacksonville State University Director of Admissions Lauren Findlay was among those who visited Janet in the Exhibit Hall. PS&L will visit the Alabama institution in August for their own SMART workshop.

This year marks PS&L’s fifth consecutive year attending NSCEC, now in its 30th year. For more than three decades, PS&L has been working to improve enrollment health for its higher education partners.

“Like the NSCEC, we have influenced the success of thousands of admissions counselors,” says Janet. “But, anyone in higher ed knows the beat of change plays on and on. More than ever before, PS&L is passionate about higher ed and passionate about delivering results for our partner institutions.”

What will also play on is music from the headphones PS&L sponsored in the conference’s Tic-Tac-Toe game. Won by Anna Gawlick, an admissions counselor from DePauw University, the headphones will surely come in handy for this fall’s busy travel season.
