Enrollment Marketing for Higher Education

If one third of all online activity is spent watching video as research suggests, your college or university should be in constant production of this kind of high-demand content.

Who better to capture your brand on “film” than your current students? But do they know what makes a good story and do they know how shoot (and edit) video that best serves your institution?

Recently Paskill Stapleton & Lord Vice President of Creative Services Bob Oxman led  student video blog workshops for client, the United State Coast Guard Academy (USCGA).

“We learned to build stories, shoot video with clear goals, and had a blast live editing,” says Bob. A goal of the workshop was to not only train cadets on best practices, but also inspire them to produce various, diverse videos that sync with the USCGA brand while cultivating authentic points of view. At the close of the workshop, cadets were motivated to rethink their everyday cadet experiences as opportunities for storytelling: from dining hall scenes to what happens on the New London, Connecticut campus when it snows.
