Paskill Stapleton & Lord conducted a comprehensive market research study for Gordon College in 2007 that included an Admissions Marketing Audit and research study to determine public perceptions of the College. Upon completion of the market research, Gordon College retained PS&L with the goal of impacting enrollment growth in the short-term and developing a long-range enrollment strategy and admissions program that will help ensure the continued success of Gordon College in meeting its enrollment and marketing objectives. Working with the College's administration, a comprehensive student recruitment and marketing program was developed. Under our guidance, the College has re-invigorated it marketing and recruiting programs:
- Developed a new communications flow including mail and email based correspondence
- Segmented the marketing plans based on geographic and demographic criteria
- Implemented a proactive outreach campaign
- Revised the high school cultivation program and fall PROBE fairs
- Adjusted the prospect management database to enable segmented recruiting and marketing efforts
- Updated the reporting systems
- Conducted extensive staff development
Through the commitment of the administration and the dedication of the staff, Gordon College experienced a 28% increase in applications for the second semester of the 2008-2009 year and a new student enrollment increase of 38%.

Gordon College has an enrollment of more than 3,800 students and a student-to-teacher ratio of less than 25:1.
